Who we are
Crocopliers is a small engineering agency. We are not a body shop, not a consultancy with a bench, and not a startup studio. We are engineers who work directly on complex product problems alongside client teams.
Our founder has spent over a decade building product platforms, connected device systems, and operational software. The company is structured around the belief that a small team of senior engineers, embedded in the client context, consistently outperforms larger teams that operate at arm's length.
What we build
We work across four main areas: product platform engineering for companies whose software layer is becoming a competitive differentiator; connected device software for hardware manufacturers who need OTA updates, telemetry, and fleet management; data engineering for companies turning product and operational data into decisions; and legacy modernisation for products that have outgrown their original stack.
These areas overlap naturally. A connected device company often needs a platform rewrite, a data pipeline, and an operational dashboard. We prefer engagements where the work is interconnected, because that is where architectural judgment creates the most leverage.
How we work
We embed into the client's communication and planning tools — Slack, Teams, Jira, Linear, whatever the team already uses. Our engineers attend standups, participate in product discussions, and have direct access to stakeholders. We do not operate through a project manager layer.
The typical engagement is two to four senior engineers on a monthly retainer. We start with a bounded phase — usually a migration, a platform module, or a product foundation — and expand scope based on results. Most client relationships last years, not months.
We treat every engagement as if we are building something we will have to maintain ourselves. That discipline shows in the architecture, the documentation, and the decisions we make under pressure.

Our track record
Our longest client relationship spans over a decade, covering a legacy interface rewrite, a connected device platform, OTA delivery infrastructure, mobile identity, data analytics, and fleet management tooling. We have also worked on live mobile app portfolio migrations, sales configurators, and operational integration systems.
We prefer to show depth in a few engagements rather than logos from many. Each case study in our library describes the real engineering decisions, tradeoffs, and business outcomes — not just the technology stack.
